Chet Zar is a fine artist and an industry professional with over twenty years of experience as a makeup effects artist, sculptor, painter, digital effects artist and creature designer in the niche field of Special Makeup Effects. His film industry credits include Hellboy
I & II, The Ring I & II, X-Men 3, Planet of the Apes, Men in Black II as well as special makeup effects supervisor for many of the critically acclaimed Tool music videos. He has created digital 3D visuals for ToolÍs live performances as well. His oil paintings have been shown nationally and internationally alongside artists H.R.Giger, Zdzislaw Beksinski, Clive Barker, Mark Ryden and many others, and are included in the collections of Director Guillermo Del Toro (PanÍs Labyrinth, Hellboy), Tool guitarist Adam Jones and Jonathon Davis of Korn.
