The Gnomon Workshop is presenting our seventh
workshop weekend, June 14th & 15th. Held
twice a year (spring and winter) our weekend
event consists of two full days of presentations,
with food and drink provided by Gnomon. Gnomon
Workshop LIVE exists for a simple purpose...
to allow students and professionals from around
the world to come together and share production
experiences, techniques and artwork. Located
at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood,
California, these weekends have been tremendously
inspiring for all that attend.
Gnomon Workshop LIVE is a rare chance to meet
some highly accomplished artists who will take
you inside their own personal projects and processes
to help advise and advance your career in the
entertainment industries. The artists in our
line-up for this event have worked on such projects
as Hellboy & Hellboy 2, The
Matrix, The Matrix
Reloaded and Revolutions, Spawn, Beowulf, Star
Wars Episodes 1, 2 and 3, and the much anticipated
Speed Racer, just to name a few.
We are also excited to announce the return of
our recruiting room! This is a great opportunity
to meet supervisors and art directors in the
industry so bring your portfolios and bring your
questions. Our Past recruiters have included
representatives from such studios as: Nickelodeon,
Blizzard, Naughty Dog, NBC Universal, ESPN, Top
Cow, Insomniac, Activision, Digital Domain, Gentle
Giant and Rhythm and Hues. The Spring ’08
list will be announced soon, keep checking this
events page for updates!

The Cost:
SPECIAL ADVANCE TICKET PRICE: $175 before June 1.
AFTER JUNE 1st and at the door: $200
All tickets are non-refundable after June 6th.
STUDENTS: $125, must have a current and valid student ID from any high school,
college or university.
