Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about School Plans

Can teachers assign Workshops to students?

With our Seat-Based License solution, teachers with granted Admin- or Team Admin-level access can create Playlists that can be shared with all Users on the License or with specific Teams created under the License.

The IP-Based License solution does not support Playlists.

How many seats do we need?

Our Seat-Based License is available with a minimum of 2 Seats. License Seats can be reassigned every 90 days, providing flexibility if you'd like to start with a small volume and build up as needed. For example, if you have a team of 20 students or teachers and want all 20 to have simultaneous training access, we'd recommend purchasing 20 License Seats. If your budget is limited, you could start with 5 License Seats and simply rotate access every 90 days.

Our IP-Based License is available with a minimum of 10 Seats. With a 10-Seat IP-Based License, up to 10 users can access our training at the same time.

Clients can upgrade their License at any time, midway through the License period; we will simply prorate the cost based on the time remaining on the License.

Do you offer school discounts?

Absolutely! We offer a sliding scale of discounts starting from 10 Seats. We understand that schools, colleges, and universities have different budget constraints, and we are always happy to discuss tailored pricing to ensure your students and teachers receive the training they need.

Can we bundle a IP-Based License and a Seat-Based License?

Yes! We have schools that choose an IP-Based License for their library to provide site-wide access to all students, and then bolt on a Seat-Based License to give dedicated access to a group of teachers or students who need unrestricted access. We can work with you to provide a tailored solution at a price that fits your budget.

Can we access usage history?

Our Seat-Based License solution allows License Administrators to access the Admin Dashboard, which provides access to Usage History Reports. These provide insight into what users are watching and the time they spend on each workshop, and can be viewed in the Dashboard and exported to a .csv file.

Our IP-Based License solution does not support access to Usage History Reports; however, you may request a general report we can provide that shows the overall Watch Time for workshops in our library for your collective user group. These are available by request; simply email teams@thegnomonworkshop.com. .

What if our IP details change?

Your elected License Administrator will have access to the License to update your IP details at any time. You can also contact us directly to implement such changes at teams@thegnomonworkshop.com.
