Illustration
The study of Art History is infused with the exploration of Illustration, or how humans have used pictures to tell stories, be them historical, mythological, religious, fiction or fantasy. This learning path highlights several artists working in the entertainment industry, who share both their professional and personal workflows for illustrating ideas, stories or concepts.
These illustrations have myriad professional applications, including box art, splash screens, merchandise, covers, posters and exhibitions. Through demonstrations of both 2D and 3D workflows, students will discover how illustrators infuse story into their work while creating captivating and imaginative images, for both clients and themselves.
